Chris Ivey Of Hyper Boy Media who has filmed and directed the documentary EAST OF LIBERTY. The film chronicles the plight of the residents of this Pittsburgh, PA neighborhood as they battle redevelopment and gentrification. Ivey, a Charlotte, NC native,boasts an impressive resume: music videos for artists including underground rapper J-Live, promotional pieces for Attack Thetare, and award winning TV commercials.

Rob Stewart is the director of the critically and award winning film SHARKWATERS. Stewart started his film as an underwater excursion documentary, but it soon transfomred into an effort to show how sharks are misunderstood and mistreated. Along with conservationist Paul Watson (Sea Shepherd Conservation Society); Stewart takes an unbelievable adventure into the world of the shark. Filmed in stunning high definition video, Sharkwater takes the viewer into most shark rick waters of the world, exposing the exploitation and corruption surrounding the world's shark population in the marine reserves of Cocos Island, Costa Rica, and the Galapagos Islands.

Matt Brunson is the Film Editor & Movie Critic for Creative Loafing in
Charlotte, NC. Born in Akron, OH, he spent his formative years in Kenya,
Portugal and Argentina. He's been with the alternative newsweekly since
1988, initially as a freelance film reviewer before joining the paper
full-time as a staff member in 1996. His articles have appeared in a handful
of publications around the South, and he's the recipient of several awards
from both the North Carolina Press Association and the North Carolina
Working Press. In addition to his film duties, Brunson also holds positions
at Creative Loafing as Associate Editor and Arts & Entertainment Editor. He
currently serves as Vice President of the Southeastern Film Critics
Association (SEFCA).

Larry Toppman is the movie critic for The Charlotte Observer (since 1987) and WCNC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Charlotte, N.C. (He first worked at the station in the 1990s and resumed that job in 2005.) He has acted in more than 50 stage productions, most of them as a singer with Opera Carolina in Charlotte, and can be seen playing a TV reporter in the movie "Atlantic City."
